The Animal Resource Center advocates for humane, science-based training methods, with an emphasis on positive reinforcement. Reward-based training builds trust, encourages desirable behavior and strengthens the bond between dogs and people.

We do not support training methods that rely on fear, pain, or punishment. Every dog deserves to learn in a safe, respectful environment.
