Summer means warm weather, longer days, and more people and their pets enjoying the outdoors… which also means the potential for more pets to become lost. To help protect your furry friends, we’re offering $10 microchips through Friday, Sept. 22.
Microchips are an optional and permanent form of identification. The procedure is simple and consists of injecting a radio-frequency identification implant under the loose skin between a dog’s shoulder blades; no anesthetic is required and the process takes only seconds. Once properly implanted, you must register your pet’s microchip in a database with your contact information; if you have your pet chipped at ARC, we will take care of this part for you!
No appointment is necessary and the entire process only takes a couple of minutes. Stop by and have your pet microchipped Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 6790 Webster St. This promotion is available for both dogs and cats.
